Is Barney Frank Gonna Have to Smack-a-Bitch?

I, for one, am glad someone has finally decided to address the wacko town-hallers with some humor. Go Barney...

"On what planet do you spend of your time?"

"Trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table."

Hilarious...

A President Spears Administration

OK, besides just vomiting in a mouth a little of the idea, I kinda laughed at Britney Spears appearance on David Letterman's "Late Show" last night. She delivered a Top Ten list of ways the country would be different if she were president.

"Free pie for everybody!"

Rachel Maddow vs Dick Armey

In case you missed it, Rachel Maddow called out Dick Armey to his face this morning on Meet the Press.

The MoveOn.org "ad" that compared Bush to Hitler was a user-submitted contest entry. It was not selected, and was never used by MoveOn.org.

AMAZING Sand Painting

Kseniya Simonova is a Ukrainian artist who just won Ukraine's version of "America's Got Talent."

She uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and "sand painting" skills to interpret Germany's invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII.

It's pretty amazing to watch and utterly mesmerizing.

PS - It also has me rooting around for Metallica's S&M album. The one they did with the San Fransisco Symphony

Watching White People Dance is Never NOT Funny

Lollapalooza was last weekend and these two dudes were more than happy to show off their super sweet dance moves for a local news station.

Classic...

INTENSE 2yr Old Michael Jackson Fan

This adorable toddler shows just how much a devoted Micheal Jackson fan he is.

It's Michael or nothing with this kid.

Also, don't interrupt him while he's dancing. Michael Jackson is serious business.

Catching Laptops With His Butt

First of all, anyone who names their YouTube account "Acrobuttocks" is aces in my book.

Secondly, how the hell do you discover that this is a talent you can excel in!?

Kathy Griffin and Levi Johnston on CNN

Most. Entertaining. Larry King segment. Evar?

Like her or not, Kathy Griffin's guest-hosting gig of Monday night's Lark King Show was hilarious. She welcomed Levi Johnston for multiple segments of flirting, sexual innuendo, deep thoughts and a Teen Choice Award show recap.

Here's just one...

Amada Palmer shows Punk Cabaret is Feedom

amanda palmer, if you want to sing out

Amanda Palmer (of the Dresden Dolls) announced a "Ninja Beach Gig" on her Blog & Twitter last month.

Lots of people came, Amanda played ukulele for a while, there was a big group photoshoot....then Amanda decided it was a fine day for a music video.

So going off a suggestion from someone on Twitter, she learned "If You Want to Sing Out Sing Out", originally by Cat Stevens, that morning and here's the result.

I'm not a fan of Twitter (yet), but can honestly say Amanda is using it creatively and can't wait to see what she does next...

Party Took A Turn For The Douche

To those who've spent a night at the club that goes from "the perfect party" to a "lot of Ed Hardy" you will find this song from comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates highly amusing...

Bonus points for "Innerspace", "Growing Pains", and "Arrested Development" references...

Rachel Maddow Exposes PR Firms Behind the Fake "Grass Roots" Anti-Healthcare Movement

I love Rachel Maddow.

Check out how she brilliantly exposes the Republican-funded and staffed PR firms behind the movement that's trying to disrupt town hall meetings and slow down/shout down health care reform in the U.S.

Parry Gripp’s Nom Nom Song gets Animated

I'm sure by now you've seen the utterly catchy, annoyingly adorable original Non Nom song. Well T-shirt designer extraordinaire Nathan Mazur of Scared of Bees has given it his own spin.

I apologize in advance for earworming this for you again. I know it prolly took a lot to shake it of the first time!

You Think She Looks Pissed NOW?

Heath Ledger's Modest Mouse Video

Heath Ledger, Modest Mouse, King Rat

Heath Ledger began directing a video for Modest Mouse's “King Rat” before his untimely death. It's been languishing in limbo until his associates at the Masses completed the violently unabashed commentary on illegal whale hunting.
